I Whip My Hair Back and Forth

Hey it's Hay!

Yes! That's right, another dance blog. My favorites, Miss Matison & Alexis. These girls both have the best hair to work with EVER. I loved every minute of helping these girls get ready for their high school dance.

On the Left- Miss Matison had texted me a few weeks earlier asking me if I knew how to do the bow in the hair! Of course I was excited because I knew how to do it but had wanted to try it on somebody with longer hair (like hers). We started by curling her whole hair with a 1 1/2- 2 inch curler. (This girl has long hair!) Then parted hair into two and began bobby pinning to create the perfect bow! May have taken a few tries to get the perfect BIG bow! But we finally got it.

On the Right- Miss Alexis had no idea what she really wanted, so we had fun creating this curly look with braids wrapped around the half up pony tail. On Alexis we used the same curler as Matison and then poofed hair into half up and half down and put a dark pony tail in. BUT before putting all hair up make sure to leave two pieces for braids. After hair is put in pony, then braid two pieces and wrap around pony tail. Finish with hair spray.

Hair Styling

Hey it's Hay!

I know how it is; what do I do with my hair everyday..how can I change up my hair style without cutting my hair... my hair is so boring! Well I have the PERFECT answer! Just try and updo or something different with your hair rather than just curling and wearing your hair in a boring pony tail!
First Picture- I layers my hair in 3 layers. Then began to three barrel my hair. After all my hair was complete I shook my hair and sprayed my hair with Sexy Healthy Hair Spray (my favorite). Starting with the front I then twisted my hair and pinned, continued the same with the other side. Then added a cute little hair bow. & WAHHLAAH
Second Picture- Easiest hair style I have EVER done! I get comments all the time on how I do it too. All you need is a head band, works best if you have an elastic band. Start with wrapping your hair into band. Continue till all hair is twisted into band then roll the following hair up and tuck underneath band. Bobby pin any loose hairs. Spray with your favorite hair spray. & your finished!

Wedding Day Pampering

Hey it's Hay!

Of course I would do makeup and hair for anybody! Especially my family. Summer 2012 My Uncle and future Aunt to be were getting married in Wenatchee. I took that opportunity to do as many people's makeup and hair as possible. Here is some photo's above of my working. Enjoy!

DANCE MAKEUP & HAIR

Hey it's Hay!
Love this Makeup & Hair!? Keep reading..

Meet Miss Mykenzie, someone I met in high school and got the privileged to help her get ready for one of her dances! When she first asked me to help her out I was so excited, and immediately started looking at inspirations.
For the first look (Makeup) I used colors from Coastal Scents Palette: Base- Urban Deccay Primer Potion, Urban Deccay Glitter Glue. Base Color- White. High light- White. Main Color- Silver Light. Half Color- Silver Dark. Smudge- Glitter Black. Pale Pink Lip for the finish touch.
Second look (Hair) I began with priming the hair with Baby Powder and Hair Spray. Followed by teasing and curling all hair with a 1 1/2 inch barrel curler. Finishing curling the hair I then put hair into a thin pony and began to pin the pony up.
